This was Natalie and I a year ago. Since then Much has changed and in the next year much will continue to change. Hahaha I dont mean between Nat and I but in my life specifically haha. 

Some times when I want to mess with myself or mostly see how far Ive come as a person I go to my tumblr archives and do back exactly a year to see where I was a year ago. If I really really want to mess myself up I go back 2, 3 or even 4 years back :)

Its one of those nights.

Now in the beginning of January Sam and Jay were on and off again friends. Since I knew Steve and Jay would have a party for just about any reason I had asked if they would have a party at their house for Corys birthday and they agreed to do it. Pretty much last minute Sam refused to go to their party and she planned one at her house instead with a bunch of Corys actual friends.

I was fine with that since he wasnèt much of a partier anyway. I told Cory since I had asked the guys to throw him a party if it would be ok if I spent an hour or two there and then come back to his house, he agreed and I had promised to be back by 10.

Since I was relying on my Mom (who is notorious for being late) to give me a ride back to Corys house I got there at 11ish. When I arrived with Weakens Everyone who had been here already was very mad at me which ultimately made me have my first drunken cry. Cory wasnt very mad but I literally thought he was going to break up with me because of how rude everyone was to me since my Mom picked me up late!

Eventually I calmed down and took a good picture with my Girls :)

Wrong! This isnèt even the half of it! haha

Jay and Sam were still not together therefore we weren`t exactly able to go to the apartment when ever we felt just like before. We also found out Melissa was trying to hook up Jay with her friend while He was still in a relationship with Sam. We quickly began to not like Melissa anymore especially when I asked her about it and she lied to Me.

Anyways Sam and I didn`t want to wait around to be invited anymore even though we went to Steves hockey games.

We began hanging out with Weakens instead and since he was hilarious and very generious we always had a good time with him. He would get us free subs and he was a really nice guy. I proclaimed Weakens to be my new bestfriend instead of steve. We even went taboganning and snowboarding at our local hill.

A week or so passed and even though Sam and Jay were not together Sam and I were invited to Jays 20th birthday, So we also brought Kaityy and Cory who did end up drinking!

This was the first party in which people were able to go upstairs in the attic which was kinda neat. Cory almost ended up sleeping up there which probably wouldn’t have been good.

I started to get to know Weakens more and he was hilarious, infact as we were upstairs Melissa was down stairs freaking out because someone was going to move their car so steve could drive drunk to tim hortons. She broke a bottle in half and threatened to get “the gangsters across the street” which happen to be her cousins.

*This had been my first big house party, and It was also the first party in which I got totally wasted (Someone had convinced me to buy a Party Pack of smirnoff ices) … to this day This had to be at least my third favourite party EVER!

Jay had been living with steve for a month and for no apparent reason he decided he wanted to dump sam after being together for a year and a half. We all knew It had to do with living with steve and how steve wasn’t the best boyfriend.

So Sam and I hungout with Kaityy for a while instead since we hadn’t exactly seen her in a while. Sam and I didn’t go to the apartment for a week or so and it was saddening because it just wasn’t the same at our parents houses.

In the mean time steve was texting me wondering if this would effect our relationship as “bestfriends” but I honestly didn’t know at the time.

We would always go to Steve’s Hockey Games on Tuesdays aswell! Oh man Mom hated when I would get home late because of those hockey games!

And then it was Halloween! Jay was moved in everyone pitched in to make this party extra special! We had halloween cups (which to this day Steve STILL USES), we set up a flip cup table in the livingroom! We made special CD’s and Everyone wore a costume. I was Britney Spears … I had a huge girl crush on her since her cd just came out. Melissa was a sexy firewoman, Sam was a sexy cat I think … and Steve was a hockey player. Cory came to the party as a pimp but then left early because hes never liked parties. I can’t recall the exact time in which I met Josh Weakens but I know he came to the party dressed as a Hobo. He started coming to more and more of our parties, he was always hilarious.

Lastly I also dont remember when we started ordering pizza and everyone pitched in, But this was usually a mandatory tradition.

Melissa and Steve always had some kind of relationship issue but I always kept trying to get them together.

 So because I really wanted to help them out We would text all the time and before I make it sound like I was a free loader I did have a job and I was usually working alot on the week days. I would even go to Tim Hortons where he would work so we could hangout and talk mostly about Melissa and parties.

I was borrowing Moms Van all the time to go to Steves … at one point in time we got into a fight about why I always went there. She didnt understand that I wasn’t into steve or anyone there and that I like hanging out at the apartment where we literally were allowed to do anything we wanted. The cops never came for noise complaints we always were doing something fun!

It was literally every teens dream place to hangout!
